Jessica James and the Outlaws
Jessica James and the Outlaws was a 1960s American girl vocal trio. The group of Bernadette Carroll, Denise Ferri and Peggy Santiglia recorded singles under their own name and also sang backing for singers such as Frankie Valli.〔John Clemente ''Girl Groups: Fabulous Females Who Rocked The World'', 2013 p. 18 "In addition to these sessions, Peggy, Denise, Bernadette and Lou completed another project as singer-songwriters, a series of recordings that were released on Dyno Voice Records as Jessica James and The Outlaws. 'Give Her Up, Baby/Come Closer' 'We'll Be Makin' Out/Lucky Day', and a version of 'Blue Skies' were the cuts by this group."〕
The girls were recorded by producers including Charlie Calello, Herb Bernstein, Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio.〔(Jessica James and the Outlaws )〕〔''Billboard'', 18 Jun 1966, p. 20 "Jessica James and the Outlaws are powerful contenders in the hit group sweepstakes. Writers: Bob Crewe-Bob Gaudio."〕
